Tuesday mornings are special around Maplewood Church, the voices of women and children ring through the halls of the Ministry Building. In the Gathering Place the coffee is brewing and a light snack is set out for the group of women from several churches that gather every Tuesday to view a video on sound biblical teaching and then break into smaller discussion groups with engaging facilitators. The children (up to 5th grade) happily play in the gym under the supervision of three childcare workers.

In the warm environment of one of the member’s homes, the Wednesday group comes together weekly for an hour and a half. Over coffee and a snack of something savory and sweet the group fellowships over bible teaching and discussion.

Whether we are listening to a guest speaker enchant us with life in Sedalia 100 yrs ago, entertained by a movie on the lawn, or participate in a time of competitive game playing, the fun never stops with this group. A time for men to dig deep into God's Word and spend time in fellowship.
The group is led by Lee Wagenknecht upstairs in Room C of the Family Ministry Building.

Young adults meet each week to have a meal together, fellowship, grab some tea and dessert, and gather in the living room of Alex and Mikayla Chernookiy for Bible study and prayer. Afterwards, they are invited to stick around to hang out and play games.
